The cubes or pallet blocks are part of the wooden pallets used for the transporting of goods. They can be made of virgin wood as well as recycled wood.

In case of use of  recycled wood, such material needs to be first cleaned, then reduced to chips, dryed, screened, mixed with glue and finally pressed.
